Patient Services

The friendly, knowledgeable team at Leon Springs Dental Center uses the latest dental technology to make your experience pleasant. If visiting the dentist makes you anxious, we can administer nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, or oral medication to help you relax. We’ve planned every detail of our bright, modern office with patient comfort in mind, from the refreshments we offer when you come in, to the warm towels to invigorate and refresh your face after treatment.

Equipped with stereo headsets, aromatherapy, and luxury leather chairs, our operatories make patients feel pampered and confident. After your procedure, relax in a massage chair in our spa room, and treat yourself to a rejuvenating paraffin hand bath.

We want to partner with your family to create optimal oral hygiene, so we carefully explain and review treatment options and post-procedure care. We also provide easy-to-understand information through our CAESY dental education system and take-home pamphlets. If you have questions about your dental care, products, or homecare habits, please ask us for professional direction. We want to help you enjoy a beautiful smile for life!

Veneers

Veneers have revolutionized smiles! Thin porcelain shells are handcrafted by ceramists in a dental lab according to our specifications. We’ll analyze your facial shape, skin tone, and overall appearance to order the perfect new smile for you. Once the veneers are in, we’ll affix them onto the outer surface of your front teeth. They will mask chips, cracks, gaps, and discolorations, and they’ll even transform misshapen or misaligned teeth into a beautiful, pearly white smile. Care for veneers as you would natural dentition, with regular brushing, flossing, and professional care. Natural-looking porcelain veneers will give you the smile you’ve always wanted in as few as two office visits.

One-Visit Crowns

Porcelain crowns restore strength, shape, and function to structurally compromised teeth. Unsightly crowns made of metal can be replaced with beautiful, natural-looking porcelain. We can design, mill, and place permanent crowns in just one office visit, so you won’t have to schedule a follow-up appointment or worry about a temporary crown. CEREC technology not only makes crowns, but inlays and onlays can also be created and placed in one appointment.

Dentures and Partials

Missing teeth can impair your confidence, speech, and diet. Advances in technology make today’s strong, lightweight dentures look and feel like natural teeth. We can custom fit full and partial dentures to give you a confident, beautiful, and fully functional smile.

Dental Implants

Dental implants replace a single missing tooth or a full arch of teeth. Made of strong titanium placed into the socket left by a missing tooth, a dental implant provides a solid base for a natural-looking implant restoration, or crown. At Leon Springs Dental Center, we can place and restore your implants, so you won’t have to go to a specialist for implant placement. You’ll enjoy the security of eating what you want, whenever you want, and smiling with full confidence!

Smile Makeovers & Full-Mouth Reconstructions

Severely damaged teeth, significant TMJ problems, or unappealing smiles can be completely reversed with our comprehensive smile makeovers and full-mouth restorations. We’ll assess your oral health, discuss your smile goals, and then create a plan to create the smile you want – and deserve! Our intraoral camera can show you the interior of your mouth on a chair-side monitor, so we can explain our recommendations so that you fully understand the treatment plan. If you’re ready for a new smile, call us today to schedule a consultation.

Preventive Care

Regular checkups, cleanings, and X-rays keep small issues from becoming bigger problems. Our digital radiography system is faster and exposes you to 90-percent less radiation than traditional X-rays. The Leon Springs hygiene team can teach you how to optimize your oral health regimen with tips and products that cater to your unique oral condition. We’ll also analyze your mouth for tooth decay, oral cancer, and periodontal disease so that your beautiful smile is backed by a solid, healthy foundation.

Fillings

For smaller cavities, we use air abrasion instead of a drill to clear away decay gently and comfortably. With air abrasion, no anesthetic (no shot) is required. Tooth-colored fillings made of composite resin look and feel completely natural. We prefer not to use amalgam fillings because they detract from an all-white smile.

Periodontal Therapy

We assess every patient for signs of periodontal disease, also called gum disease or gingivitis. Gum disease can escalate to cause tooth loss, gum and bone deterioration, and it has been linked to stroke, heart attack, and complications for diabetics and pregnant women. Our soft tissue management program includes scaling and root planing to gently remove bacteria and plaque below the gum line. We may also recommend antibiotics or irrigation with antimicrobial agents to control bacteria growth and restore your gums to health. Gum disease is reversible. Early symptoms include redness, swelling, and bleeding gums. Call us today if you notice any irregularity in your gum tissue or if you have not had a dental checkup in more than six months.
